INSTALLATION GUIDE FILES:
ISIS™ Multispeed Wipers- This installation guide gives the installer the schematic to wire a multi-speed wiper assembly to the a POWERCELL™ control unit. Can also be used for other devices with their own on/off switch that are continually connected to the system.
ISIS POWERCELL™ control unit ignition (A9L) setup- This install guide gives the details to wire a Ford A9L engine control module to a POWERCELL™ control unit.
ISIS Intelligent Multiplex System independent ignition setup - Similar to the combo ignition intallation guide, this guide gives the details to wire a key switch ignition and a separate push-button starter.
ISIS™ Intelligent Multiplex System combo ignition setup - This guide gives the details of how to wire a starter solenoid and engine control module to a POWERCELL™ control unit.
ISIS™ LED indicating switch setup - This installation guide demonstrates how to wire in a double pole switch with a separate LED indicator to a POWERCELL™ control unit. The LED indicates when the switch is active (load is engergized).
ISIS™ Intelligent Multiplex System multi-filament lighting with mechanical column control setup - This installation guide demonstrates how to setup a multi-filament lighting system with mechanical controls in your automobile using two POWERCELL™ control units to manage the functionality.
ISIS™ Intelligent Multiplex System multi-filament lighting connections summary - This guide gives the complete wiring diagram for a multi-filament lighting setup typically found in an automobile using two POWERCELL™ control units.
ISIS™ Intelligent Multiplex System multi-filament lighting connections summary - This guide gives the complete wiring diagram for a multi-filament lighting setup typically found in an automobile using two POWERCELL™ control units.
ISIS™ Intelligent Multiplex System single-filament lighting setup - This installation guide demonstrates how to setup a single-filament lighting system in your automobile using two POWERCELL™ control units to manage the functionality.
ISIS™ Intelligent Multiplex System single-filament lighting connections summary - This guide gives the complete wiring diagram for a single-filament lighting setup typically found in an automobile using two POWERCELL™ control units.
ISIS™ Intelligent Multiplex System self-cancelling external lighting setup - This installation guide demonstrates how to setup two POWERCELL™ control units to manage self-cancelling external lights for an automobile including the headlights, brake lights, turn signals and four-way flashers.
Address Header Instructions-This guide describes how to differentiate and between POWERCELL units using the address headers as well as how to assign addresses.
This file shows in detail how to wire a Factory Five '33 Roadster
Use of this schematic is reccomended for all installs. Using it will ensure that outputs do not turn on when ignition is off.
This detals how to wire outputs to come on with ignition while using the Push Button Start personality. Items wired in this way will only be able to turn on when ignition is on and not while the car is off.
This diagram shows how to wire headlights and high beams using the ISIS system. Also included in the diagram is how to wire high beams if using a floor switch.
Use this guide for wiring loads over 25 Amps that you want to be swtiched on through the ISIS system. Outputs over 25 Amps cannot be powered directly off the POWERCELL unless the method shown in this schematic is used.
Use this schematic to wire inRESERVE into your ISIS System, thus preventing your battery from dying after long periods of not using your car. Please see the products page for more information.
This schematic shows a full car generic ISIS install. Use this for a basic overview of how to wire your car using ISIS, specifically how to connect inputs and outputs to common devices.
This diagram details how to wire a GM headlight swtich while using ISIS. It also details how to use the build in rheostat to dim the dash lights.
This guide shows how to wire the popular S2000 starter switch into the inputs to the ISIS MASTERCELL.
This guide shows you how to connect the MASTERCELL to a GM-Style steering column for the turn-signals, horn and 4-way flashers.
This app note shows you how to connect a 5-wire door lock solenoid to the ISIS MASTERCELL and inMOTION Cell. You get central locking control with this setup. Pulling or pushing the lock plunger on either of the doors triggers the MASTERCELL to send power thorugh inMOTION to activate both solenoids.
This simple schematic shows you how to use a single indicator bulb to flash when either the left or right turn signal is on. Two simple diodes keep the two separate outputs from cross talking.
This application note shows you how to connect the terminals of a standard 3-wire alternator into your battery and the ignition output of an ISIS POWERCELL.
This guide shows you how to wire in the ISIS inVERT module. THis allows you to safely switch MASTERCELL inputs off of 12-volt switched signals.
This simple sheet gives you guidelines for the sizes of fuses to be used on your ISIS Powercells when you wire your car. These guidelines are based on typical current draws for the common switched functions in the car. You may have to adjust these fuse sizes based on the specific manufacturers component or if you reduced the wire gauge going to the accessory.
You can get more information on fuse sizes on our blog by clicking this link.
For simple projects, without a lot of outputs, some customers choose to wire their cars with our 2-Cell Kit. It is a cheaper option but it means that you have to run more wire in the car. It also means that you have to use a trailer converter if you want to use single-filament turn-signals otherwise the front-turn signals will also turn with the brake lights. Check out this application note showing you how to integrate this into your wiring harness.
This simple drawing shows you how to wire the inputs to the ISIS MASTERCELL to the Ford Mustang headlight switch. The part number for this switch is C5ZB-11652-A1 from Autolite. This details how you wire ground, the headlight input and the parking light input on the switch.
