When you think of an electrical system for your car, the first thing that comes to mind is the traditional wiring harness that you find in almost every automobile on the road. Its hundreds or thousands of yards of wires, junction boxes, relays and more. Now imagine how daunting of a task it would be to replace that harness. Wouldn’t it be great if there was an easier way?

Now there is: The ISIS™ Intelligent Multiplex System. No relays, no fuse boxes, no fixed functionality. Everything you need is contained in the system, and it can do anything you want. Anything.

Now that we’ve got your attention, you probably want some more details. ISIS isn’t your average every day automotive electrical system, it’s much more. It’s a complete solid-state electrical system that can be used as a stand alone system or it can be used as an overlay to your OEM system.

If you require additional electrical power in your vehicle, you can hook the system up to your battery, wire it up, and you're ready to go. If you’re into building kit cars or want to replace a vintage electrical system on a restoration projec, you can drop it in place of the old system, wire it up,  test it, and your ready to hit the streets or track in style.

The engineers who designed the ISIS Intelligent Multiplex System understood that, while most automotive enthusiasts have a firm grasp on the mechanical components of their vehicle, many may be a bit intimidated by the complexity of wiring their project. We designed the product with this in mind. Our goal was to make installation simple enough for any weekend mechanic to tackle the project on their own.

Flexibility.
Go check out your local auto parts store or your favorite catalog and you’ll find hundreds, even thousands of different wiring harnesses variations for different applications, car makes or models, even years. With the ISIS intelligent multiplex system we’ve made the selection process simple by designing the system to be anything your want it to be. In other words, it’s flexible. We like to say that the only limit to the functionality is your imagination.

Why is it so flexible? The ISIS Intelligent Multiplex System is a microprocessor controlled power distribution system. In other words, it’s programmable just like a computer. Let’s say you want to want to control your head lights, you simply:

1. Connect the MASTERCELL inputs to your switch
2. Connect the POWERCELL outputs to your headlight
3. Connect the POWERCELL control unit to the battery and connect the POWERCELL tot he MASTERCELL with the ISIS CAN cable
4. Test the Circuit
5. Turn on your lights

During the design process, Littelfuse used a creative team of automotive enthusiasts, mechanics, and engineers to work through virtually every conceivable scenario that might arise when designing or installing an electrical system.
