The ISIS™ system lets you control any part of your car’s electrical system in many different ways. You may program a light to blink as a turn signal, or stay lit as a running light. You may program a time delay for intermittent windshield wipers, or a soft start to your sound system.
Each mode of behavior is what we call a “personality.” You can make custom personalities, or you may download the software for common personalities from our online library. Descriptions of the standard and custom personalities follow.
PERSONALITY DEFINITIONS AND STANDARD PERSONALITIES
Personality Description
This describes how the personality functions and the various states that are created during its function on the POWERCELL™ control unit. The personality definitions are stored in the MASTERCELL™ input unit, which assigns them to the POWERCELL™ control unit dynamically.
This indicates one of four possible relationships that the POWERCELL™ control unit and MASTERCELL™ input unit have with each other when a given type of personality is applied.
The Four Possible Relationships
1—ONE-to-ONE: This means that a single input on the MASTERCELL™ input unit controls a single output on the POWERCELL™ control unit.
2—ONE-to-MANY: This means that one input on the MASTERCELL™ input unit controls multiple outputs on a POWERCELL™ control unit.
3—MANY-to-ONE: This means that many inputs on a MASTERCELL™ input unit controls one output on a POWERCELL™ control unit.
4—MANY-to-MANY: This means that many inputs on a MASTERCELL™ input unit control many outputs on a POWERCELL™ control unit.
