On a standard ISIS™ Intelligent Multiplex System™ this personality is not defined for any of the ten outputs of the POWERCELL™ Control Unit, however some application functions, such as trunk locks, door locks, hood locks, and door poppers require the use of these personality profiles for normal operation.

Personality Description
This function produces an output on a POWERCELL™ Control Unit based on time. The amount of time that the output remains active is programmable from milliseconds to minutes. Once the switch used to initiate the action is closed, the timeout process is started. Once this process completes, the Output node automatically cancels itself, regardless of the state of the Input node. The Input node must be turned OFF and then back ON to restart the timing process. There is no limitation on the number of output nodes that can be defined with this personality type.

NOTE: If, prior to the completion of the time cycle, the input node is returned to an OFF state, the time out period will immediately be cancelled. Turning the Input node back ON will re-start the timeout period normally.
