How does it do this?  Easy, it uses multiplexed technology, its solid state and it’s programmable.  Instead of using relays, flashers and other antiquated components found in a traditional harness, it uses solid state components called MOSFETS to switch and regulate current flow.  The great thing about MOSFETS is that they are solid state.


Solid state means that there aren’t any moving parts.  So, unlike relays, they don’t have any limitation to how fast they can be turned on and off.  Having this much control over current flow allows you to do something that engineers call “Pulse Width Modulation (PWM)”.   Pulse width modulation allows you to control the amount of power you want to send to a given circuit.  Now, if you want to control motor speed or light dimming you can do it.  Just program your ISIS system use the pulse width modulation function, connect your inLINK™ wireless key fob and you can dim your interior lights at the touch of a button. You can’t do that with a traditional wiring harness out of the box.
